Section A – Let’s Dance the Night Away

All Classes in this section eligible for the Designer's Choice Exhibitor Award. Designer.

Class 1. Tango

A FUNCTIONAL TABLE “Dinner for One.” Design to be staged on tray tables 19" wide x 14-1/2" deep.

Class 2. Swing

AN EXHIBITION TABLE TYPE II (At least one piece of fresh plant material) Staged on a table draped in black. The Designer is allowed a space 24" wide x 28" deep x 36" high. Designer provides own background which may be incorporated. An underlay may be used.

Class 3. Square Dance

A CREATIVE DESIGN to be staged on a black pedestal. Two of which are 24" wide x 24" deep x 36" high and two which are 24" wide x 24" deep and 30" high. An underlay may be use.

Class 4. Polka

A TUBULAR DESIGN staged on a black barrel with an 18" diameter x 36" high.

Section B – On Stage

Class 7. Ballet

A SCULPTURAL DESIGN to be staged on the floor within a space 24" x 24". Design height unlimited.

II Horticulture Division

Class 1. Quickstep An annual display eligible for Award of Merit. Exhibit must consist of a minimum of five different cut specimens exhibited in individual containers. Containers may be any of the exhibitor’s choice. Specimen may be staged on shelves, frames, blocks, tiles; may use colored background, table covers or other staging to enhance the plant material. Other plant material is permitted, but only to enhance the staging and the specimen. Staging must not detract from the plant material. The featured specimen must DOMINATE the exhibit.

Class 2. Line Dance A perennial specimen. A single specimen displayed in clear glass container. Eligible for Award of Merit

Class 3. Salsa an herb dish garden containing 5 herbs. Eligible for Award of Merit. A dish garden is a miniature landscape in an open container. It may include one or more accessories to enhance plantings and to create an effective landscape. Accessories may include rocks, pathways,driftwood or figurines, etc. Maximum space allowed: Containers may be of any size that fits into a 24” square space.

Class 4. Minuet an arboreal single specimen no more than 30” in length, no less than 18” in length.

Class 5. Ribbon Dance Outdoor Planters. Eligible for Award of Merit. Maximum 24” any dimension of the container.
